Computer Basics OPEN REGISTRATION

MakeIT Haverhill will be holding Open Registration on Saturday April 9 11AM-1PM at 301 Washington Street in Haverhill for two FREE computer courses offered to Haverhill residents only. Interested learners must commit to eight 2-hours classes over eight weeks - a total of 16 class hours:

1. COMPUTER BASICS course covering email, internet browsing, cybersecurity, and job search tools. Classes begin April 23 and continue every Saturday (10AM-12NOON) through June 11.
2. INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER BUSINESS SKILLS course covering financial tools, online marketing, and other business startup skills. Classes begin April 27 and continue every Wednesday (5-7PM) through June 15.

All classes will be available in Spanish and English, and will be held at MakeIT Haverhill's collaboration space at 301 Washington Street. Learners who attend ALL classes and successfully graduate will receive a new Chromebook and 1 year of free internet service, thanks to the generosity of partners Tech Goes Home and the Essex County Community Foundation. If you are interested, availability is limited to 12 learners per course and is first come first served at the April 9 Open Registration.
